I’m pretty straight forward, and I’m an over-share-er. So if you stick around long enough to get to know me, then you’ll learn way more than you ever wanted to. I try to be real, in all parts of my life. Right now, I’m just trying to juggle it all: marriage, motherhood, nursing school, and laundry (turns out that a crib makes a great laundry hamper if you cosleep).

Yes, I’m in nursing school. I can say that now, because I’m officially in. I’m leaping head first into the busiest two years of my life, filled with didactics and clinicals, diapers and couch snuggles. My end goal is to be a CRNA or a midwife, but right now, I’m just working on the bachelor’s degree.

If you’re wondering about me as a mother, I’m heavy on the attachment side. Babywearing, breastfeeding, cosleeping… we do it all. Kid.the.first was born in May of 2006 and the Gremlin rolled into our lives in February of 2009.
